DS ChileTurismo Chile hired DV to create a “Destination Specialist Chile” program in 2007. After achieving less than satisfactory results using a trade magazine training initiative, Turismo Chile viewed our Mexico work samples and innovative e-learning platform in deciding to partner with a new agency. Cancun CTIIn 2005, the Cancun Convention & Visitors Bureau was ready to revive their Tourism Institute to include online learning with a proven success rate. They chose Destination Ventures to produce an online campus, FAM Trip program and Loyalty Program as part of the Tourism Institute’s broader travel agent engagement strategy. Due to its success, they again contracted Destination Ventures in 2006 and 2007 to amend and enhance the program on an ongoing basis. World Heritage AllianceIn 2006, the World Heritage Alliance, a partnership between Expedia Inc. and the United Nations Foundation, hired Destination Ventures to develop both live seminar and online learning programs focused on Mexico’s World Heritage sites. The programs were tailored to empower World Heritage Alliance members and tourism industry partners to promote sites to visitors, while learning to adopt responsible, sustainable tourism practices. PV Pro LogoDestination Ventures was hired by the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board in 2007 to create an online learning campus specifically designed to help the destination reaffirm its unique identity. As a neighboring and competing destination began to grow (the Riviera Nayarit) tourism officials say the need to differentiate the Puerto Vallarta product and unique feature by re-educating the travel agent community. Acapulco AcademyIn fall of 2006, Destination Ventures was hired by the Acapulco Convention & Visitors Bureau to create an online learning campus specifically designed to help re-introduce Acapulco to a new generation of travel agents and consumers. Offered in both English and Spanish, Acapulco Academy’s Study Course provides a comprehensive review of Acapulco’s sights, attractions, tours, and accommodations – both old and brand new. Magic of Mexico LogoSince 1992 Destination Ventures has designed and executed live travel agent training events for the Mexico Tourism Board (SECTUR). In 2006, seeing the myriad of benefits in online learning, the MTB hired Destination Ventures to create an accredited online campus. The interactive campus now covers over a dozen Mexican destinations, based on updated and expanded material from the popular “Magic of Mexico” sales manual. To view the campus, CLICK HERE.

Los Cabos Expert LogoSince 2004 DV has worked for the Los Cabos CVB conducting both “live” and online training programs. In the Fall of 2008 we developed an interactive training tool in support of the destination’s new branding campaign and redesigned website. The Campus includes individual hotel/resort “e-lessons,” a highly effective educational resource for resorts to train agents, meeting planners, and tour operator-“call center” employees.
